Fair Streets for All of Precinct 4

Quality asphalt and stormwater drainage so no neighborhood is left stranded in the mud after rainstorms.

What will Lupe Negrete do about road conditions in Precinct 4?

Lupe Negrete will demand an immediate rebalancing of Maverick County’s public works budget so that colonias like Loma Bonita receive proportional investments in asphalt paving and stormwater drainage, ending historical neglect compared to central Eagle Pass.

The Real Problem in Our Colonias

For decades, residents of Precinct 4 have navigated rough unpaved roads and severe potholes that damage vehicle suspensions, wear down tires, and block school buses and emergency vehicles during rainy weather.

While county funds are concentrated in central city projects, peripheral colonias are left behind. Local residents pay their county taxes on time and deserve the exact same standard of roadway infrastructure.
