Roots & upbringing on the Texas border

Raising a family in Maverick County teaches the true value of honest labor. From an early age, Lupe learned that strong communities are built through hard work, faith, and mutual support between neighbors.

Across Precinct 4, families share the universal aspiration to see their children thrive in safe neighborhoods with reliable public lighting, well-paved streets, and responsive local government. Those daily realities drive his commitment to public service.

Act 02

Community service, planning & leadership

Over the years, Lupe Negrete has demonstrated practical management skills, accountable leadership, and an unwavering willingness to listen to the concerns of everyday residents.

In contrast to an entrenched political establishment that has historically overlooked outlying colonias, Lupe has maintained an active role in demanding fiscal transparency and ensuring that the Commissioners Court accounts for every taxpayer dollar.

Act 03

Why he is running for Precinct 4 now

Precinct 4 cannot afford four more years of broken promises. Chronic dirt road conditions in Loma Bonita, dark unlit streets, and a lack of budget oversight require courageous, independent representation.

Lupe Negrete is running to be the voice of working families who pay their taxes and receive little in return. His sole commitment on the Commissioners Court is to ensure that county resources are invested where they are needed most.
